Omega 2.2 Struggling to start
« on: 31 December 2012, 22:56:55 »

Hi All

Firstly thanks for all the advice on the problems with the starting on my Omega. After all the advice, I had the fault codes in the ECU read on a tech 2 machine and they showed a fault on the cam sensor. I have had this changed today and all the codes removed from the system. The car has been fine until this evening when the same fault has appeared.  :'(

I go to start the car, it struggles to start and finally fires but with the engine management light on (small car with the spanner) The car doesnt go in to limp mode and drives normally.

I'm now confused!! Any ideas now that the cam sensor has been changed will be gratefully received

Cheers

As you're almost neighbours to MarksDTM, contact him & ask if he'll look at your car. If he can't fix it or at least diagnose the problem .........  :y :y

You'd have got trade price if you'd got a TC card ;)
