How much should I pay for a genuine Vauxhall battery for a 2003 1.2 Corsa? (36ah)

My local(ish) Vx dealer does not recognise Trade card, but is willing to haggle.

Thanks, Mr Aaron. Would a 60/65/70 Amp battery fit?.  The original Vx one is rated at a paltry 36 AH.

Being in a tight spot, I've just ordered this one. The best price I could get was £50 inc V.A.T.

I hope the above figures don't include V.A.T....as I'm told the retail price is £46.90 + VAT.....£56.28.

As I discovered at 7pm on Boxing Day.
To make it worse they'd managed to break the clamp nut as well.
45 minutes to change a bloody battery!
At least they don't need coding to the car, unlike the latest BMWs.

I'll have to sort the radio though. Luckily, I've got the four digit code ........I think
