Checking Elite Seat Heater Pads - Out of Car.
« on: 17 February 2013, 14:38:13 »

Need to check the Heater elements on a set of Preface Elite Leather, fronts and rears that are out of the Car?.

So armed with 12v and some croc clips, anyone know the Pins or wire colours (+/-) for checking the elements, front and back?

Thanks.  ;)

MID FACE LIFT

Rears are SWRT and SWGE,  return through BR.

Fronts are the same and Pins 4 and 7 respectively :y

PRE FACE LIFT

Wire colours the same, front and rear. Front Pins in the plug the same numbers, but seat is wired differently.

It'll be a break in the base mat ........... that's my guess based on fixing my Senator's & Omega's seat heating  :y

It was the back on mine, and if leather, there's no pad, the wires are glued into the covers under a load of felt and foam. :(
