I used to play flanker for the American Uni in Paris.  Those Americans who did make the switch to rugby were ruthless.  If you can image that I, at 110kg, was the smallest forward.

I remember one game where we played the French riot police, the elite CRS.  We destroyed them.  They left the pitch with 13 players still able to continue despite turning up with a full compliment of 7 subs.
