DTi Intake Manifold

Hi guys,

Has anyone had a crack at removing the two part intake manifold sections as I want to clean mine as mine Is hesitating on acceleration there isn't a guide yet but if no one can help ill make one for future reference

It's really easy but a filthy job.

When the weather gets warmer i'l be stripping mine to clean it out.

From what I can remember you remove the intercooler to inlet hose, all 4 injector pipes, vacuum sensor, EGR valve and vacuum pipe at the rear of the manifold. then it's just a case or removing the outer cover then the inner manifold with the swirl flaps but locating the nuts on the inner one can be difficult due to the amount or crud there will be. I used nitromors to clean the last one up and it took hours to get it clean oh and you'll need the two new metal gaskets for replacing :y
