Hello Chaps

after the last weeks searching, i cant find a decent cup holder for my Miggy!
infact, i have been looking the last 10 years lol!

have tried many, including the crap one that slots down the side of the door and falls off!
also tried lots from Halfords, the air vent ones are rubbish

does anyone actually make a decent sturdy cup holder for an Omega? i like my coffee on a long trip! lol

Did I see one for the American market on the catera? It folds out of the centre arm rest cubby hole. Which it fills completely iirc.

Catera models in USA had that option and I have had 1 fitted for the past 4 years.

They hold 2 cups and are mounted inside the center arm rest and fold forward.Trouble is as they are quite thin  have a tendancy to snap the curved arms.

Sure I have a spare 1 here somewhere ,but know it is as described above with part of the arm missing but still works.

As said, US cars had them. Bit flimsey though, and quite rare here in UK.

Obviously, I couldn't possibly comment on having drinks available to the driver, esp as on a twice weekly basis I have to call the BP cashiers retards for trying to sell me hot drinks for when I am driving . But cup holders make it it safer than driving no-handed. Though I'm sure we've all done it - not so much drinks with me, more pastys and those convenient (when driving) 99p McD handheld burgers 

If its for not when you're actually driving, the non facelifts have nowhere to rest a large cup that well. Just in front of gearstick is about only place, and thats not as stable as same area on FL

I can speak from experience as to not have drinks to hand when driving as I got caught Tuesday for taking a sip as I was driving 3 points and a £60 fine to follow

This is the one they are talking about, works great, though it takes up the whole centre console.
Had mine for about a year, haven't broken yet, though it actually spends its time mostly packed together (can be in the way if it's a manual car)
