« on: 11 May 2008, 20:14:57 »

What are your thoughts on him?

I think he is an absoloute nutter!

He was in the news not long ago, he'd been caught in a hotel whn he was supposed to be in the middle of know-where but still, you still see him do crazy things ;D

Seen a few of his programmes and quite enjoy them but he is definitely a bit of nutter - things he puts himself through! :o

Still, you've gotta respect the guy for his survival knowledge. :y

When you think about it they have got to be much more stage managed than initially appears - just ask yourself where the camera man is.   But interesting nonetheless - and as for some of those things he eats...

i thought the idea of a survival programme was to show survival tips ,
not the easiest way to kill yourself by taking stupid risks

The programme made me chuckle last night when he was talking about stealth when moving through the jungle to evade kidnappers! One thing he stated was doint have anything reflective on you and yet he was being closely shadowed by a cameraman carrying a camera with a bloody great shiny lens!  :o ;D ;D ;D
I wonder what his real name is? for example" Birt Scroggins" doesn't seem rugged enough ::)
