I seem to reading somewhere our European buddies only have to get their equivalent test done every 2 years. So we will fall in line with that one too will we? :-\

I hope not. Enough death traps out there, and for some, the MOT is the only reason to fix dangerous issues.

Don't know about the rest of the EU but Spain test every 2 years from new up to 10 years old then reverts to annual.
I'm obviously on the annual!

Whilst MOTing mine we were having a good laugh and chat (not about the car... It passed first time even though I didn't check it over) and it seems that Euroland are looking to change to annual mot to come in line with us :-\

my cavalier turbo gets amusing, i remove the 4x4 fuse so they can brake test on the rollers but that puts an orange light on and the mot tester gets all confused when i explain what ive just done!
