MOT....and exhaust update
« on: 16 April 2013, 13:24:41 »

Hi all....

Both cars now passed MOT with no advisories on either. Well chuffed on that :y

Also an update on the exhaust situation, (rather than pull up the old thread in GH) The 'Polish' exhaust fitted like a glove, no mods needed, and sounds as quiet as a church mouse. Really pleased. Only been in local traffic so far, with a short stretch at 50mph on the A40 to West Wycombe, but could only hear road noise. On certain tarmac, difficult to determine whether engine was running ;)

All in all.....£78 well spent in my case.

I know I said it at the start, but I have been out for another test drive, and that exhaust is the quietest I have ever put on any car.
Have I been lucky..... have to wait for Cleggy to get his done, or someone else to fit one and compare. If anyone doubts me, the proof of the pudding will be available at the Wycombe meet on May 6th.
Longevity will be the future test :y
