From Orange to GiffGaff .......
« on: 22 April 2013, 16:36:18 »

....... on iPhone?

I'm considering moving from one to the other. My contract is up and I don't really need a new phone, but to get a plan that includes 1gb of data, its going to cost £31 on sim only, minus 10% loyalty. Obviously GG have a plan at £12 which would be suitable.
Anyone had any problems moving provider?
And will an iPhone need to be unlocked?

TIA  :y

I've just ordered a sim from gg and earned that taxi driver fella some dosh.. My contract is not up for two months yet and I need to get my phone unlocked. I can't see how it might go wrong but I'm not going to bother asking for a PAC code. I'll just let my three contacts know my new number.

That £12 goodybag is for unlimited data......if you only want a 1Gb of data the £10 goodybag will suffice your needs if 250mins is enough for calls.

As for unlocking, yes it will if its been on Orange

HTH

PS If you click on my link in my sig, not only will i get a £5 credit, you will get £5 credit as well  ;)

Giff Gaff is based on o2, for me it's best network in areas i go. Their customer service is all online. Helps reduce costs  :y

I get free iPhone and unlimited bill, it's just I do not pay it  ;D
