Thanks for this Nick!   This is typical of how Tesco's now treat their customers...US!  I have posted the following self explanatory comment on the website:

"Tesco's now believe they are so powerful within our society that they can dictate to us, their customers, what, when  and how we undertake even perfectly legal tasks within our lives.  I personally have now decided NEVER to use Tesco's again, destroying my Clubcard, over this and previous examples of Tesco's arrogant and unfriendly attitude towards their customers.  Marks & Spencers made this mistake once, and now WE the people must take action agains't Tesco's.  Teach them that they do not run this country - BOYCOTT THEM NOW!!!" >:( >:( >:(

Does anyone know how to construct a national action web site agains't this arrogant trader?  How about setting one up?

There was an armed robbery at our village's Tesco Express the other week. :o Found this out just as I was about to report the Police spotter plane for flying a little close to my "person, vessel, vehicle or structure". :-[

while on my way to our local tesco express i remarked to my friend "this has been robbed about 4 times in as many months" then we went in while she asked for some cigs and i said to the till girl "why've you hardly any cigs left?" and she said "we got robbed again last night"

they have cameras and security but these tesco express shops seem to be a magnet to robbers!!

Teso's attempted to ID me last Christmas as I was purchasing various alcofrolic beverages. I am 29, with 2 kids, the oldest being 7. I have more grey hair than black and was on this particular eveing dressed like me dad.

I asked the rather dim witted cashier if she really thought that I was 11 years old when my daughter was born. Her response;  "prove shes yours"

Now, the alcohol she was just about to scan was approx half way through packing. The conveyor was still full and I had several packed bags, which alreadey added up to some 180 quid (go a bit mad a christmas) sitting on the floor and in the trolley. My response; walked away and left it all, much to the annoyaence of everyone in the que.

Needless to say, i haven't been back since.

Well done!  That's how to hurt this arrogant, self opinionated store operator, who believes they can dictate to us, their customers, what we should do, when and how.  They do not run our country although they think they do!  Cut em down to size by walking away from Tesco! :y

Their latest trick in this part of the world is to be buying land of flocal councils & building on that on the premise of putting something back into the community. Sham there is a precint across the road with a Somerfield already there & numerous small traders there trying to make an existance for themselves. Its not competition, its domination they are after & why cant the cretinous politicians see past the brown envelopes flying their way thta we all pay the price in the future when there is no competition. Monopolies charge what they want. Look at all the utilities for instance.
Anyway thanks for that, todays rant over lol

Any land they don't build on they will put a covenant on preventing their competitors from establishing an outlet on too. I heard that there's going to be a shake-up of practices like this soon. Let's hope it's a thorough one, although knowing our self-serving government no doubt Tesco have them in their back pockets.  >:(

Then let us do something about it!  Join together and prove us the people live in a representative democratic country.  I repeat what I have done, and want to do as per my final question:

I have posted the following self explanatory comment on the website:

At least post your feelings on the quoted web site.

Lizzie Zoom, ready for action! :y :y
