Rubbing the rubber off and painting is the easy bit.
I was looking to keep the texture but sort out the scuffs  :)

New from VX then :y

Any diy products will involve stripping them back anyways, so you might as well use summat more durable (like paint) :y

Oh well, I acquired a set of cards off the bottom improver.
There in better nick then mine so I was going to do a swap and have a play with the old cards  :)

Back to the drawing board I suppose  :-\
