First problem with the passat
« on: 11 June 2013, 19:07:57 »

It wouldn't open it doors with the remote this morning and the little plastic key wouldn't open the doors.

Called the garage and they came out an hour later, with the "full breaking into cars kit" which included plastic wedges to wedge the top of the door open and then an airbag inserted to make the gap even bigger.....then inserting various rods to press the unlock button inside the car and pull on the lever to open the door......none of which worked!

They eventually got in thro the boot....put an arm thro the armrest to get the lever to drop the rear seats and in that way

Still took 'em and hour to get in! lol! They'd be no good trying to nick cars lol!

Fault was eventually found with remote.....unlock button not working.....new remote works fine :)
