well its a v6 and 2.6---so odds are-------what----crank sensor---

 :( Well it happened again today, and have done the "pedal test", and guess what? its only showing 335
 so guess I had better get a sensor. Easier said than done tho, am going way for a few days abroad next tues, I just hope she starts when I get back, had no problems since the last time tho. Shit happens, as they say

Crank Sensor change on a V6 is reasonably quick with fairly easy access iirc :-\

I have looked for a new one, there are a myriad of them (Ebay) have rang a dealer, and the parts lad was thick as two short bricks, said there were two (well its is hot, and it is a fri afternoon @4.15 pm)
If anyone has a suggestion, its a
2001 V6 2.6 automatic
thanks for any help, I am useless at decision making  ;D ;D

I would just order a new genuine one from AndyC. Chances are a local dealer would have to order in anyway, and I wouldn't trust one off ebay.
