So it's very worn then?
How will the changes be if I insert a lightened smf?

i have a solid flywheel in mine get lots of transmission noise and still jerky changes you will probably be better off getting another DMF . think my problems are gear linkage related .

Bringing up this old post again

I have changed the DMF to a c20let SMF og i have changed a donut bush that was worn
But i'm still experiencing the roughness of the gearchanges, although the worst is when I let go of the accellerator and press it down again (I have to be extremely carefull for it not to jerk)
i'm also experiencing some alerting gearbox noises, when i'm idling (allthough i'm not sure if thats the clutch bearing or the gearbox itself, but it stops if i press the clutch)

Any ideas what can be the problem?

Usually symptomatic of a worn clutch release bearing ;)

If the noise stops clutch down then release bearing is the cause. Won't hurt to change it if you drop the box to change the dmf :y

I'd say more like the the spigot bearing in the end of the crank, otherwise it'd be the other way round. ;)

The other question is, when the DMF was changed for a solid flywheel, did you change the driven plate to one with a sprung hub to absorb transmission shocks?

New crankshaft bearing fitted
New reinforced C20LET clutch and pressure plate fitted
New slave cylinder with new clutch bearing fitted

Sound stops if i press the clutch, and get's very silent if I push the shifter forvards without pressing the clutch

Here's a video of the sound: http://s259.photobucket.com/user/Andygun89/media/MOV_0204_zpsb18ca4da.mp4.html

Sounds like it's from the gearbox itself in that case. Not sure if it'll be related to the jerky changes, though.
