Well the little arm had popped out of the connector - thanks chris & phil

So now i know i have self adjusting how do i test they are actually adjusting $:-\$

and there are plenty of those about at the moment - austerity

at least it's a quick re-fix until I have to replace it

One of the breakers here might have a good used one, if its needed.

They where over £50 each when I needed one, and that was years ago. They have gone up considerably since.
