Reaction Engines
« on: 20 July 2013, 13:10:14 »

It is good to see a UK company has just received £60 million to progress the development of these. They are looking at running in near space at mach 5 for taking equipment cheaply into space and then eventually a passenger version, so you can fly from for example from Europe to Australia in 4.5 hours. Their target is to have a prototype flying in 2019.  :y :y :y

Can't see it happening tbh.
Not enough money around to pay for trips like that BUT I'd love to see Skylon, son of HOTOL get developed  :y

Now that would be one hell of a ride  :D :D
