Mega thanks to Kevin Wood ...
« on: 18 August 2013, 20:25:11 »

... and the lovely Emma, for their extremely generous invitation to an all-expenses-paid nosh-up for the entire Seth clan at one of Hampshire's finest eateries tomorrow (Monday) evening. :y

We'll be overnighting near Winchester, en-route to the Isle of Wight for our annual Summer hols.
From there, we stay in the Cotswolds before arriving at Newent on Wednesday 28th. 8)

What a great way to kick-start our vacation! ;D

It's derived from the Latin Vacare  ;)

He's a good egg really and Mrs Wood does some good nosh :y

But be careful of the "Magic Cupboard" though... I've tried to drink it dry, with the assistance of 2woody, but it just seems to replenish itself! :D ;D ;D

Undoubtedly so, Paul :y

But on this occasion, the lad's treating both her AND our entourage to an evening of gastronomic pleasure ... sort of a pre-Newent warm-up ... I suppose.
Oh, and he's even sorted a stretch limo to transport us all ... so I'm lead to believe.

Can't wait mate! ;)

Repurcussions will be longer than  an evening if I'm cooking. :o

Bit of a problem with that. Haven't got a large block and tackle you could chuck in the burger van, have you? ::)

It was great until some doddering fool did this to it:

See - Ford Focus. Always keep a good distance from them. ::) No idea how he managed it. Whilst parking in a tiny car park, he managed to flatten a 12"x12" wooden bollard and continue to destroy the chip shop. Moved the fryers across the floor, apparently. Words really do fail me. :o

As I say, words fail me. Give me a field full of Focuses to practice with and I doubt I'd manage to wreak as much havoc as that muppet did without even thinking about it.  ;D How the hell do you turn a flimsy hatchback into that much of a battering ram with, at the very most, a two car length run to gather your momentum?  :o
