Just had what I believe to be a scam EMail purporting to be from PAYPAL. The usual bad use of  English Language and Grammar, along the lines of account not used for sometime and now suspended open another window to re activate.  YEAH RIGHT

It is probably doing the rounds again , I simply deleted it

This type is constant, rather than in phases.

Standard computer security rules apply, NEVER click on links in emails or on user generated content (ie, arsebook, idiotter, forums etc).

I have had six of these email con's over the last 5 months.

You simply delete them, like I do with the others about my Barclay's account and my HSBC account (which I do not have) letting me know of suspension and unusual activity!

  Had a few of these saying I was able to post off item( to Nigeria funnily enough! ) as payment had been cleared etc , thought they would have twigged that people have sussed this by now

They don't send them out for nothing 1 in a million people will still be gullible and on average they will milk them for £30k. In many countries including Ghana, Nigeria, Ukraine, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand, the USA, the Philippines and China this is a very profitable business very often run by organised criminal syndicates where they will have underground call centres to part people from the money. The UK criminals tend to run boiler room operations selling bogus shares as the average mug gullible investor will part with between £50 and £100k. All of these verminous scum specialize in preying on the lonely, sick and old people in society. They are rarely caught and if they are the sentences are normally comparatively small where it is considered a white collar crime for the £millions they have often netted.

I always send these type of emails into the 'Pishing Scam' box, but I'm not sure if it does any good.

If Paypal, Banks or Building Societies what to inform you of any thing they allways do it on the 1st page after logging in, they generally never email regards upgrades or service changes.

Yes they do as they need to keep on top of them and by you and others sending it to them they can act sooner.
