As its the only blu ray play in the house, which includes two micrdroopy devices one of which melted, you know the answer to your answer. ;)

I was told on here they'd be shite, but they work fine for me on sky box and wii.
Oh, and pc, now it's upstairs.

You can get things called Gaming Adapters, that make a wireless bridge.  But its something else to power and configure.

GayStation3's are so cheap now, just replace it. Work offered me one for being a good boy, along with a Canon IXUS. I took the camera, but turned down the gayStation.

It doesn't get much use tbh. And even less on wifi.

What was the issue with them? (Ring main thingy)

Throughput is normally nowhere near whats promised. Plus some of the far east ones randomly melt.

Throughput is normally nowhere near whats promised. Plus some of the far east ones randomly melt.
The (highly optimistic) figures they quote are also full duplex speeds, so a 200Mbps adaptor only does 100Mbps in each direction (which it won't in real life anyway).

Yep, it's probably more optimistic than expecting WLAN to do what you want. You're better off investing the time required to run cat 5 everywhere you need internet access. Once it's done, it will just work and cause no more frustration.
