code 1614
« on: 31 October 2013, 18:24:00 »

Changed the battery in the key and a little black thing fell out. Thought owell just a bit of plastic. so i but the key back together and tried it in the car.It started but the car/spanner came up flashing. Turned the engine off and worked out where the bit of plastic went put it back together and tried it all ok. I decided to do the pedal trick and the code came up i take this will go away or will i need to get it cleared.

From memory. 16xx codes are immobiliser, which would fit in with events. Also from memory, I think it stays there until cleared.

Ignore it ;)
