Tyre sizes
« on: 23 November 2013, 21:16:43 »

My 2.2 has 215/55/16 tyres but I am sure one of my old migs had 205/55/16's on the rims? reason for asking is the Hyundai I'm stripping has 4 very good 205's on the rims and would happily stash them in the shed if they could be used on the mig.

I think 225/55/16 are the correct ones. 205 will be too narrow I think.

Should be 225's., and the 205's will give a smaller rolling radius, but if you use all 4 should be fine as long as they are W rated unless the 205's are V rated extra load.

Pretty much what I'm running on my Astra actually, just a 60 profile! (Got my old omega gls wheels on that) Shame I've just had tyres else I'd have snapped them up lol
