Do people still have net curtains?

I'm contemplating getting some for the front...

Just plain ones or the lacey type with danglies on?

We had a window cleaner a few years ago, I left the money with next door as she was in during the day, when the same bird muck was still on the upstairs windows for 3 weeks, He was sacked,
he had the front to complain he wasnt paid too.

They don't knock do they. 

I was in bed after a heavy week of 12 hour shifts. Woken by a load of banging and rattling out the front. Wtf? Jump out of bed in nothing but me bollards, pull the curtains only to be greated by a beardy weirdy with a sponge. I nearly shat meself.

If we didn't have net curtains I guess he would have as well, or worse, fallen off the ladder


Luckily the net curtains did their job as I don't think he noticed, or he's seen it all before, one or the other.


Why don't they knock ?

Ours just ladder over the locked backed gate. Nothing stops them. Nothing.

Not even when the ladder slid out from under one of them on wet decking.
