the story with the Volvo forum was one that a lot of forums cold suffer from in the future.

It was an independent that got slagged off, however it would seem that it was not all true, this in turn escalated when the owner of the garage got into the forum and tried to put across their side of the story.

The long and the short of it was that the owner ended up getting legal advice as there was a case of slander to answer to here, the forum nearly got caught up in it as they had perpetuated it and not stepped in and locked the thread in a timely manner.

Ok on a forum like this we don't get these issues, and if we did they would be sorted in an adult like manner due to the people who run it and contribute to it, but not all forums were created equally
