Just picked up my bits for the cam covers / oil cooler, pulled away and half the pigin engine stopped working 
Same on petrol and lpg.

Plugged in    code reader to find misfire cylinders 2 / 4 / 6 and random misfire (can't remember the codes)

Question is ............... do these coil packs tend to just go pop and wipe out all 3 sparks in one go or is it a gradual thing ?

Is they anything else it may be before I throw my toys totally out of the pram and buy a coil pack ?

I *think* they have a common 12 volt supply and individual connections to the 0v/ground/earth terminal from the ECU. If the supply is missing then all three coils will stop working.

Mmmm, best remove the scuttle and look at the plug then

Spot on Andy 
Last time I was under there, the plastic cage on the plug fell apart 
The plug had worked its way loose and had fell out 

I'll glue it in when I do the covers / oil cooler next week
