Still a while to go before my next check up but iv'e lost 8lb in weight  :o :o :o it dont feel i lost that amount but the scales dont lie  :) Just about a stone and a half to lose to be ideal weight  ::) Hopefully the diabetes will disappear  :-\

it will never disappear completely ,I'm afraid.. only the symptoms and effects can be lightened :-\

you always have to stay awake and watch/control it carefully..

Arh i been watching too many tv shows saying they have overcome diabetes
 :( Still managing it will be no problem  :y

Don't worry too much, as long as you are sensible you won't have any problems . I have had it for 7 years now(type 2) and can honestly say I have had no bad incidents.

steve what are your glucose levels just to compare with mine im type  1 so it would be interestng to see the difference  :y :y :y :P
