Interesting Tyre Conflict

My handbook say the tyre size for a Z22XE is 195/65 R 15.

The tyre size fitted is 225/55 R 16.

At least the alloys will be protected from kerbing with all that rubber over hanging :y

15" alloys were only on pre-facelift cars...

Well they have corrected it in my manual........

4 tyre sizes listed for all engine sizes in mine  ;D

They carnt get it wrong now  :D ;D

My spare is a 195/65R15 but the tyres all round are 225/55R16, this happens alot in the car industries, my othe car has a 15" spare and 17" rims all round (215/45R17 front and 235/40R17 rears)

Correct, wider tyre doesn't fit space wheel  area

 This is right but I have two different size tyres on the BMW

It was changed by the dealer, when it was their demonstrator.
