Hi to you all me again,
Have just arrived home in the rain,with the word`s lit up on my dash
LOW BEAM
F/D/VISION
read your links, and I am now slightly confused.
The wife's Astra had a head light leveller. roller switch?
My Omega 2.2 CDX Aut ahs nothing on the dash, am I missing the plot here some where, and yes I have one, but it is automatic.
These Omega all ways seem to amaze me.

Light level sensor on front n/s wishone and one on rear trailing arm. Check that the toggle arm/s haven`t slipped from the balljoint

Given the actual location of the sensor module it does get a fair bashing with rain/dirt off the road and rotating wheel so a good check on the wired plug and cable condition.

As suggested by RobG the arm is the first check then possibly the above..mine had a perished wire where it joined the plug so replacement plug with section of the loom and out with the soldering iron.When replaced I coated the back of the plug connection with silicone to protect the wiring in future.

Your car has automatic headlamp levelling, and the warning is to say there is a fault with it. Usual cause is the NSF wishbone sensor has popped its balljoint, as RobG says

Be aware the sensors are stupid money if bought new. Known good 2nd hand sensors are the way to go if the sensors have failed.

....... or a clever jury rig lash up with a couple of small cable ties.

Car now fixed.
Fault was as you all said, front sensor.
Garage mecanic picked the car up,and 20 min  later vehicle retutned all fixed.
Jammie said no charge ,When asked why no charge, he said your infoe was spot on  so he pushed the sensor back on then added a couple of cabletie`s for good measure.
I gave him a tenner, and said thank you.
