That reminded me of the never ending supply of vehicles that just spun off the road when we went to North America. Poor tyres? poor driving? who knows.

Lack of weight over the rear wheels? Being pick-ups and no doubt have a massive V8 up front.  :-\

We saw similar a good few years ago in & around Kissimee (sp?). After a heavy down pour one evening we saw half a dozen 'wrecks' within 15/20 mins where cars/SUVs had just left the road with little obvious reason.
