ive just gone online to check my bank account and expected to see a small figure but am viewing a larger figure added by a bank giro credit ?
i have contacted the bank and said its not mine and it has been paid in in error but they also say its not theirs and cannot take it off me.
they have no details of the company who has paid the bgc in as they have not put their name on the transaction so they have no rights to reclaim it?
i will shove it in my savings account to see what happens !
ps i am now classed as a millionaire- in thailand !!!!!

Put it in a saving account but try not to spend it mate as that could end in tears.

I had something similar last year where I received a BGC payment in my bank account for just over £300 from some insurance company which looked to be like a claim settlement. They never did try and re-claim it!
