Timing Belt Kit
« on: 04 April 2014, 09:45:31 »

Ive got a timing belt kit here for a 1.7 Diesel Astra

The kit is made by BGA, has anyone used them before or heard of them?

I bought the belt online and the place I got it from listed in in such a way I took it that it was a genuine GM part... however it isn't!

Im hesitant about using it and wondered if anyone else had experience of this manufacturer. Its on the box as made by BGA in Swindon

"henryd", they look a lot like Contitech - could be re-badged?

I would check the name on any idlers and/or tensions as its these items that cause the problems, not the belt.
