Door Mirrors
« on: 13 May 2014, 19:02:09 »

Hi - my nearside door mirror was smashed by a kindly, passing, anonymous idiot  >:( and now needs replacing. How do I do it? I've got the internal trim off but havent figured out how to get the external black trim off without breaking it. I have removed the bolt and screw located under the interior black trim.

I have a mirror if you need one and I'm in Devon.  Its for a pre-facelift.

Elite now gone.  Bought an X-Type 4x4.  If there had been an Omega 4x4 I would have bought that instead.  We really liked the Omega, but I wanted 4x4.

With the interior triangular trim removed you`ll see 3 small Phillips screws. Undo all 3 , remove complete mirror from outside of car, unplug connector, job done. You don`t touch the "bolt and screw".
If facelift I`ve a n/s one here
