Hi.

Just removed the Steering idler to replace it with new one and in so doing, have damaged slightly the rubber cover on the centre tie rod ball joint. Is it possible to just buy a new rubber cover from anyone or from motor factor?

Can anyone please advise me?

Many thanks.

Possibly, it's not a standard height boot. It's quite shallow in height compared to ball joint boots on the track rods for example.

Try balljointboots.co.uk   You will need to know the size, but that's true whatever way you do it.

You might find a motor factor that stock them, but I think you'll probably have to buy a pack.
