A better fix is to the drilling the valve where the snapped off spur is so that the broken off part can be inserted into it by 4-5mm.

Then insert and glue (ideal solvent weld) the broken part.

You loose a few mm of the length but thats not issue.  :y

New valve is £14.80 + VAT list from Vauxhall.

Scrappy pipe was the superior 4 way valve type, in decent nick, and £5 for cash.

Guess which one won? ;D
