I believe the Saturn vue 3.0 v-6 uses the same engine as the Omega , correct  Interesting Utub videos on engine part replacements  Maybe our American friends can confirm , or even English ones

Yes who would put the stat there? 

That all in one plenum/intake manifold must be a right bastid to get out, seeing as they don't just lift out.

And presumably component location has sod all to do with what chassis the engine is fitted to, especially as it's wwd...

Is it really too much too apply a touch of common sense/imagination

I would suggest that it was before yourself, and Nick W were even thought of...

Ive been putting off replacing the stat for a year now  I know its not a bad job albeit that B bolt shinanigan

That inlet / plenum setup looks the same as the one on the 3.2 Vectra C.

I would suggest that it was before yourself, and Nick W were even thought of...

I think they had to wait for petrol to be invented before they could test it. Good job it had maritime uses in the meanwhile (on the end of a chain).
