Interesting........ :-\  We get inundated with them despite being signed up with the telephone preference service, many seem to use an international link to get around this....... >:( >:(

You can get them cheaper on ebay and Amazon etc.  I spotted it on Maplins whilst having a gander there.  :)

We accomplish similar via our phones, the BT 6500's.

Phones are crap, but the blocking functionality is great, given us our peace back.

Block (well send silently straight to answerphone) via category of
Witheld
No caller ID
International
Payphone
and 10 specific numbers.

You can also flip it around and do a whitelist based on fav's or your whole phonebook.

I beleive Panasonic have released one now as well which is likely better, but have no experience of it.

I just know I watch our block up to about 10 calls I dont want daily!
Also registered on TPS too, for what its worth nowadays.

I work shift so am often asleep in the day, this is worth its weight in gold.

TPS is run by one of the trade bodies of the comapnies that make these calls. So they leave so many holes, its almost pointless.

I have caller display on home phone and of coarse the same applies to my mobile....Just take the advice of Martin Lewis (the money man).....If i get a call with no number I let it ring and if it has a number and I do not recognize it then I simply ignore it..The reason I do this is that it is a well known fact by simply answering the call they then know that it is a so called live number and then they get paid to pass it on to others,if after numerous times of non contact they simply give up..Last month I had several calls to my mobile from the same number in Spain I did not answer any of them and so far this month they appear to have given up .. :y :y
