Ah yes, nearly forget with all the other goings on this last week... :-\

Following a review of the cctv and witness statements, he is receiving a written invitation to a private party at Crawley Police Station. Which is nice. Hopefully he'll shit a brick when he opens the invite.

Should he decline to attend, then he will be getting a lift there in a blue and yellow taxi, which will take some explaining ::)

What happens after that is anyones guess :-\

Good news.

We live in a litigious society, Al.

I say sue the little shit. You have documented evidence from both  CCTV and the police. There are plenty of 'no win no fee' solicitors who may be interested in your case. :y

Different type of litigation, Opti. No win, no fee is for screwing companies/councils/people out of their cash. Bringing a private prosecution is totally different, with no guarantee of cash at the end of it.

Can Al not make a claim on the grounds of emotional trauma and loss of earnings?.... :-\ :-\

I don't think so, not if it arose from a criminal act.

You can do the googling, I'm not that interested busy.

In the same sentence, too. :-X

Of course, the truth is that you've been so traumatised that you now can't bring yourself to drive the car in which the offence was committed and need the finance paid off so you can buy something else. There you go... :y
