I need to replace the flat roof on my daughter play room(shed). It is 16ft by 16ft. I know I should put a apex roof on this but due to restrictions I cant so I was going to put a slopped roof on it. Going from the back to the front. 
My question is would 12" slopping down to 2" at the front be enough to ensure a good rain run off. I am going to use 18mm ply then 2 layers of self adhesive roofing felt.

That would be just about enough to ensure the rainwater escaped. Don't forget to put a piece of batten at either side and felt over it to stop the water coming off the sides.

Sounds like the perfect candidate for fibreglass...

Our house has a flat roof and drops about 8" over 40' with no issues :y

I would advise considering using EPDM:

Easy enough to install and very robust, plus it can tolerate the expansion and movement associated with a wooden structure.

Thanks for the link, I need to replace the felt on three flat roofs this summer and will now use the rubber roofing where looks very cost effective, easy to apply and lasts longer than felt solutions. :y :y :y

A 10" Slope over 16'

Or in proper measurements 250mm drop over 4870mm span is a decent rake and will allow water to cascade very well.

Conversion is done in my head so only approximate!

Depends who's asking really... Obviously there are times when a foot is 5-6"... :D

You may need building regs for this, if so and you don't bother, it may cause problems when the house is sold.
