Good afternoon all over the last couple of weeks some times after the car has been left standing over night or while im at work it has a misfire. It seems to clear when the engine is warm and it does use a bit of water but there is a small patch of water under the car if left for a few days so i dont know if its connected. No codes are present at all even when it misfires. Also another thing i have noticed is that there is a fair bit of pressure when opening the header tank even after not being used for a couple of days. No signs of mayo on the dipstick or any oil in the water. Any ideas what it could be?
Also check your Water Thermostat is working as it should be, could be the LPG is switching in on initial temperature but the Vaporizer is suffering due to a lazy or faulty Stat. Also check the Temperature sender and connections at the back of the Head.
On the 2L also worth checking the Air Intake System for splits hoses or leaks after the Air Filter Box, as running on Petrol is more forgiving than LPG with a incorrect Air mix intake, also on some early 2L LPG Systems they used a Mixer System (Single Point) rather than multi - point injection, the Injection was done just behind the Air Filter Box so again any Air leaks would be more apparent on this type of system, also the insertion of the Mixer Block at this point tended to push the whole Air Take back and up and this could rub on the underside of the Bonnet so also check your sensor wiring and connections Maf etc.
