Actaully, I am amazed at your ability to see the future - you take my car for a spin last weekend, and it comes back with permenent coolant warnings. Also as if you knew they would all make me change your avatar ;D

Hmmm, just found this erroneous bit of code....

if ($user eq 'Mark' && $username eq 'Mark') { &fatal_error('not_allowed_profile_change'); }

I wonder if that might be the cause of this pesky bug

Hmm. On the face of it looks like a very dodgy bit of coding.

However, I've been bitten before when just removing chunks of code that seemingly are gibberish. The original author must have put it there for a reason.  ;)
