NCD30 radio
« on: 15 April 2015, 05:25:09 »

In my wife's 05 tigra keeps turning its self on without even pressing the button... What's making this happen? Could be the reason I had to change the battery if its draining it..

2013/15 in omegas has such a setting.

It's to do with the radio coming on automatically with ignition on, or retaining the mode it was in when last turned off. ....or something like that.

So if the radio was on last time the car was turned off, it will come on next time you turn ignition on. Or not. Depending if mode retainment is set to on or off, or whatever it is.

Might have that setting on yours? ...might not.

I bet that's clear as mud too ;D

Been on yo google and it appears to be a very common fault with this head unit fitted to corsa's  , merivas , tigras ect where by it turns itself on when key is out of ignition and you're tucked up in bed.. Not a fixable fault according to various forums.
