Omega hearse.

It is a brave man who trusts a 12 year old Omega to take a 'loved one' to their final resting place. This is a time when absolute reliability is everything. It really is a case of 'get me to the church, or crematorium, on time'. :)

The Omega hearse pops up for sale on Ebay now and again.  Would you buy one if you were a funeral director? New.....maybe. But 12 years or older? ::) ::) :D

Imagine this scenario.

Its July and the temperature is in the eighties. The elderly Omega gets all hot and bothered and comes to a grinding halt.

A mob of once nice people dressed all in black suddenly turn nasty.  ;D ;D ;D

Like I say......a brave man. ;)

There certainly are a few up for sale on the bay/autotrader and other outlets :)

Wouldn't you have thought it an honour, if, when you turn your toes up, Doctor, to have a fleet of Omega's following your Hearse ;D

A long time ago I recovered an incontinent Carlton hearse, that had been on its way to a job. Transmission leak rather than an engine failure.

The driver said they got a lot of odd looks from passersby as they moved the coffin from one hearse to another on the hard shoulder of the M2 :o

Being late for your own funeral is supposed to be a joke, but I doubt it was funny in this case.
