I need to buy soonThis year) a couple of tyres for our Corsa C Uk car.

I quite fancy some factory standard alloys off a Corsa C breaker. Very little extra money and decent tyres.

Do the insurance company need to be advised?
Do they load the premium?

Any other issues?

Friend upgraded the stock wheels on his NSX to 17 and 18s.
When he proved to the insurance company that they could replace all four for less than the price of one stock wheel, they reduced his premium!

But that's a special situation, don't expect it in most cases.
