An unusual Trade Card question
« on: 16 September 2015, 14:15:24 »

My cousin is a mechanic with his own business. He has given me his trade card details, and where he has an account in Kent. I want enough oil to do oil changes in my three Omega's. He said if I get the oil, when he comes up, he will help me with the oil changes, filters, etc.
Question is...will Vauxhall accept me giving the details

Really no different to giving the ABS details, so I can't imagine they'll even bat an eyelid.

The only question I ever got was "Why on earth have you driven all the way from Essex?" as the ABS account is registered there..

If they query it, tell them you're his employee or doing him a favour?  ???  :y

Mobile Mechanic springs to mind here.

Card is registered in A and your VX Dealer is in B, Ring Dealer to check Stock / pick up Order, and say your sending someone down to pick up and pay while your cracking on with the job.  ;)

Yeah...actually my cousin is a mobile mechanic :y
I know I could get my own card through ABS, but have not got round to it yet.
He offered out of the blue to help, and did say if I had problems he would ring. As you all say...a trade card is a trade card wherever you live. But I did not want him having problems on my behalf.

Go into W.J.Kings in Dartford which is the main " main " dealer. You would probably get that lot cheaper on AB Club than Trade as they have an account registered there for several years.

They also had 4 pack 5ltr oils in stock last time I went in around 4 weeks ago at £8=25 per 5ltr and filters were sub £2=00 so you should save a few £,s :y

As I am not at home, I can't confirm, but WJ Kings of Dartford is ringing bells. :)
Thats where my cousin has his account....but I want to use Burnham Garages (High Wycombe).
When I get back, I think I'll ring them and see what results. I was just worried about them not liking me dishing out a trade card from Kent. Also don't want to pester my cousin, because he works long hours and is pretty busy.

As you're always up this way, I'm happy to get TC items for you, as long as not in desperate hurry (as they will only deliver on days I can guarantee to be in all day)
