Is anyone here a member?

They used to have a guest book, and years ago I left a message offering my Carlton GSI free to good home.  I got a response, but it was the day after I'd given (yes, GIVEN) it to the dealer who sold me my Omega for nothing!

Anyone?

For that matter, I won't be a 'proper' member here any more either, will I?  How can I with no Mig?  Oh dear........

No, probably not, I suppose.  Think I'd feel like a bit of an outsider if I didn't own one though!   :)

ABS state, quote, "You are eligible for club membership if you own, or have an interest in, any straight six Opel/Vauxhall.........although anything from the Carlton 2.6i to the Lotus Carlton and 6-cylinder Omega are also welcome." :y

I  am not sure if that is an "interest" Foxy as in interested in, or a legal / finacial sense! :-/ :-/ :-/   I know I certainly had  to state what car I owned before my membership was accepted.  ;)

No, and to be blunt in fact no more worth it than joining this Forum for that reason. >:(

If this is your only intention and purpose for being here not many members, and certainly the Administrators will be very happy.

E-bay, Auto Traders, local newspapers are the place to sell cars if you are unable to enter into the great spirit on this site. :( :(

i offered them 2  24v senators about 3 years ago. i only wanted a hundred quid for the pair.both low mileage but with rotten bodywork. no-one got in touch so they had to go to mr. scrappy. :'(

If you look, I joined in May, and came across the site while looking for advice on my Omega cutting out.  This site pointed me in the direction of the crankshaft sensor, and solved the problem, for which I was very grateful.

I have been considering different cars for ages, as you do, and had no intention of 'using' this site as you say I am.  In fact, I was even considering an MV6, so did think I was eligible to join.  Sorry I was wrong, and I wont be darkening your doors again.   :(

Sorry you feel like that Foxy, and please note my posting on your "What an Insult" thread. :(  I have pre-apoligized on that if I have it all wrong, but it does rather seem as though you have started actively to use this site to sell a car; that's just the way it seems for all the reasons I have stated. :-/ :-/

I hope I am wrong! ;)  But all my comments about the value of this site, and the need to protect it's integrity do stand.  We are aware that all too many have joined just to sell their cars and hence the 50 posting limit. :y :y

Prove me wrong by becoming a committed long term member and I will be the first to embrace you! :y :y :y :y
