I would worry about the motor and electrics getting damp :-\

That said - the compressor should have a TEFL (totally enclosed fan cooled) motor so maybe it is designed to cope with the damp :-\

I used to. But I've had it over twenty years and it's been outside for most of them.

I did lose a mig welder to a damp shed, which let go with a nice bang.

Mine is in the garage at the moment - detached, concrete etc - and if I forget and leave it on I can hear it cycling at night when I'm in bed, about 15m from the garage..  :-X

Which usually prompts me to go outside and turn it off, at least! ;D Luckily none of the neighbours have been out and about while I'm doing that yet or they'd get a heck of a shock at the sight of me in my undercrackers.. ;D ;D

Some things cannot be unseen! :o :o

Pass the bleach please

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

If I could make space in the (drier) shed I'd move it in there and build a noise isolating cupboard for it.. but currenly there's barely enough space to walk around in there  :-X :-X
