Bet it's still never quite as easy (or clean) as the demonstration video, though! ;D

Exactly my thoughts, Aaron....It looks so easy when its not on the car or covered with rust and crap. I had a book once called AA Book of the car (70's) showed you how to do everything. But all jobs showed a brand new car, on ramps ,etc. Totally different to reality :(

Similar with Haynes where they say undo nut and withdraw bolt or something along those lines,quite overlooking the possibility that some heavy handed monkey has rounded the nut off in the past and the bolt is seized solid in whatever it happens to pass through.

Just watched the vid. Sorry must've missed that.

I have seen that tool before but we don't have one. Only trouble is it has to be a stretchy type boot (we normally get 'shaftech' stretchy boots). But sometimes they're not available.

Did another cv boot today. Outer one this time on a golf. Stretched it over using the cone. Took a couple of attempts. I am a bit of a pussy though. And omg I'm covered in cv grease. And this shit don't come off! Lol
