Information display
« on: 11 May 2016, 18:09:41 »

Hi I'm wondering should the information display screen show the radio channel/frequency when the radio is on as when I switch mine on the date goes of to a blank screen the temp is displayed and I know it's not the bulbs as when the radio is of the date is displayed. The only thing I can think of is there is a parrot Bluetooth kit installed when I bought the car so maybe they unplugged something. Thanks

If it's aftermarket then you need to cut one of the wires to the display although I can't remember which one

Problem with that is it also stops the salon ariel amplifier being switched on   ???

Not if you make the disconnect at the rear of the display (not the radio)  :y

Colour at display?

I seem to recall its the same colour wire as you disconnect at the radio, the aux feed that drives the Aerial amp is also fed to the display to indicate the radio is on.
