Some of the press/media are being a bit defensive. For example one news site refers to English "Fans" but French "Hooligans". Not saying the French are squeeky clean, but funny how there's trouble when English "Fans" are in town. And in the video, French just don't dress like that, ever.

English lads all together having a bit of a sing song and a few beers.
Locals dickheads take exception to this and start giving it large.
English lads take exception to the abuse and give said locals some abuse back followed by a sing song about Le Froggies  ;)
Local dickheads get really pissed off with this and kick off big style by waving blades about and chucking chairs ect at the bar windows and English fans  ;)

Some English fans take offence by this and give the odd local dickhead a bit of a slap  :-X

In the meantime, the local bar owners who up to this point had been getting on great with the English lads rings the police because he is scared that his bar is going to get trashed  :(

Police wade in and the local dickheads melt into the alleyways leaving only the pissed off English fans there to take the shite  >:( >:( 

Also note that the camera crew was perfectly placed to provide commentary  ;)

Still seems like a load of oiks looking for trouble to me.


Out of interest, everyone should read this. It's quite a long read, 1,000 years worth, but very informative and amusing  :y I've read it twice.
