Prodrive aerial ball

Hi had a problem with the aerial on my estate with spoiler. The ball on the aerial base i believe is a Prodrive part to get the aerial more vertical to avoid the spoiler anyway i'm trying to find out if the actual mast screwed into the ball aka the ball has an inward thread or a outward thread. My aerial looked like this when i got it and i tried to unscrew the silver top but it just sheered off flush with the ball,i've now tried to drill the ball to remove the thread but no good so far. Anyone got a photo of the ball or info of the threaded part or new Prodrive ball itself?
